Reconsider is a collection exhibited in Summer 2010. Through formal and semiotic considerations Reconsider discusses life, death, fate, determinism, science, spirituality, love, altruism, personality, tenacity, fortitude, endurance, endeavour, ambition, limitation, possibilities, opportunity, the extraordinary, the ordinary and beauty. It asks the audience to reconsider these issues, their values and perspectives juxtaposed with the experiences of the collections unique and incredible subjects.

As a portrait artist, Kate Hopkins has used Reconsider to explore innovative composition within portraiture, in order to communicate the essence of her subject more succinctly.
